Digital X-Rays

X-rays are an important part of your dental exam, because many problems with the teeth, roots, and jawbones cannot be seen without them. Digital X-rays use smooth sensors so there is no need for the sharp film that pokes your cheeks and gum like with traditional X-rays.

Because digital X-ray images don’t require any chemical processing, they are available within seconds. Digital X-rays are safe, too. Some studies have shown that they emit up to 90% less radiation than conventional X-rays! Intraoral Scanner

The iTero^® Element Intraoral Scanner eliminates the mess and discomfort associated with obtaining dental impressions after wisdom teeth removal. This advanced scanner uses optical scanning to capture detailed images of your teeth and bite, allowing for precise and accurate digital impressions. With this technology, you can avoid infections, cysts, and tumors that can be caused by wisdom teeth. The scanner also allows you to see simulations of your teeth and track progress, improving the overall care you receive. Additionally, dentists have instant access to the digital information, reducing turnaround times for dental lab work and making “Same Day” crowns and restorations possible. This technology ensures accurate aligners, crowns, and restorations, and the digital information is easily accessible in case of emergencies.

Intraoral Cameras for Patient Education

Digital photographs taken with our intraoral cameras give us a clearer view of areas that can be difficult to see in a standard visual exam. This unique technology allows us to perform advanced cavity detection using fluorescent light technology, helping us find possible problem area before they become painful. These high-resolution images are also a vital patient education tool, allowing Dr. Clark to show you exactly what she sees during your exam. Now you can take a more active role in your dental visit!

Cone Beam CT

Cone Beam CT (Computed Tomography) is a very low dose technique used to examine the jaw and structures of the skull. The traditional or digital X-ray shows a flat picture of the jaw whereas the CT scan gives us a complete picture of the jaw.

Standards for Sterilization

Our sterilization room is visible to all of our patients, so that they can see for themselves that we go above and beyond to make sure their health and safety are a top priority. We divide our instrument processing area into four sections to ensure you are receiving the safest dental care possible. We also complete a third-party spore testing of all our sterilization equipment to verify that all sterilization equipment and instruments are working properly.
